Invited to an event with former President Trump and U.S. Representative Jeff Van Drew
CEO Ma Young-ae and her husband, a North Korean human rights activist and businesswoman, were invited as the only Koreans to an event attended by former President Trump and Republican dignitaries. CEO Ma Young-ae and her husband, who is the CEO of Ma Young-ae Pyongyang Sundae and a North Korean human rights activist, were invited on the 16th to an event hosted by former President Donald Trump and U.S. Representative Jeff Van Drew. The event, held at Mar-a-Lago in Florida, where former President Trump resides, was particularly noteworthy as CEO Ma Young-ae and her husband were the only Koreans present. Former President Trump introduced CEO Ma Young-ae as an excellent businesswoman and North Korean human rights activist, commending her dedication to assisting North Korean defector refugees. CEO Ma stated that being invited to the event was an honor for her family. CEO Ma also stated that former President Trump expressed regret over the lack of progress in relations between the United States and North Korea. CEO Ma, who established herself as a North Korean defector businesswoman with Ma Young-ae Pyongyang Sundae and Jokbal (pig’s trotters), announced plans to expand her business soon, not only across the U.S. but also to Canada and South Korea.
